Adfam, as part of The Drug Sector Partnership, is working to help build a framework to support the development of a trained and competent workforce with the skills it needs to deliver effective support to families. This will involve the mapping and development of the qualifications, skills, roles and responsibilities of the practitioners currently working hard to support families affected by drug and alcohol use.

To help in this exercise Adfam has created a questionnaire for those working on family support in the drug and alcohol sector. This mapping will help ensure that drug and alcohol practitioners have all the skills they need to continue supporting service users. This questionnaire is for service managers of services which help support families affected by drug and alcohol use, and will run until 15 April. One respondent will be selected at random to receive 100 of Adfam publications or a 100 reduction on an Adfam training course of their choice. All data will be kept in accordance with appropriate data protection guidance.
